SparelyThis Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Sparely Cleaner. In short: your photos, contacts and calendar are analyzed on your device and are never uploaded to us.
1. Who we are
Sparely Cleaner (the “App”) is published by ARANCIA S.R.L. (“we”, “us”), Monserrat 3003, T4001DSO, San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, which is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Contact: support@sparely-cleaner.com.
This policy covers the App and the website sparely-cleaner.com.
2. Content on your device
To find similar photos, duplicate contacts and outdated events, the App asks for access to:
- Photos, to find similar and duplicate photos and to let you sort photos with Swipe Clean;
- Contacts, to find and merge duplicate contacts;
- Calendars, to find old and repeated events.
All analysis runs locally on your iPhone. We do not upload, store, view or share your photos, videos, contacts or calendar events. Items are deleted or merged only after you confirm. You can change access at any time in iPhone Settings.
3. Information we collect
Technical and diagnostic information
We collect limited technical information, such as device model, iOS version, app version, crash reports and diagnostic data, to keep the App stable and fix problems.
Usage information
We collect information about how features are used, such as which tools are opened and when a scan completes. It is not linked to your name or email address and is used only to improve the App.
Information you send us
If you contact support, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple tells us whether a subscription or trial is active so the App can unlock its features.
4. How we use information
- To provide the App and its features;
- To keep the App stable, diagnose crashes and improve it;
- To answer support requests;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising and we do not sell or rent personal data.
5. Legal bases
Where data protection law such as the EU or UK GDPR applies, we process information to perform our agreement with you (providing the App), for our legitimate interests (keeping the App reliable, improving it and answering support requests), with your consent (iOS permission prompts, which you control in Settings), and to meet legal obligations.
6. Service providers
We use trusted service providers for crash reporting and app analytics. They process technical and usage information on our behalf, only to provide these services, and never receive your photos, videos, contacts or calendar events. Apple processes purchases under its own privacy policy.
7. International transfers
Our service providers may process information outside your country, including outside Argentina and the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law.
8. Retention
- Content on your device stays under your control and is never stored by us.
- Technical, diagnostic and usage information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
9. Security
Your content is analyzed on your device under the protection of iOS. Data sent to our service providers travels over encrypted connections, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.
10. Children
The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@sparely-cleaner.com. We reply within the time required by applicable law.
In Argentina, you may also contact the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), the authority responsible for enforcing Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326. In the EU or UK, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at sparely-cleaner.com/privacy, with the date at the top.
